  • All tours start at 8:30 a.m. and typically last about an hour (or a little longer).

  • Two-hour metered parking is available on Venice Blvd in front of A Kid’s Place.

  • Tours are for ADULTS ONLY.  Please leave your little ones at home.

  • Come prepared with questions!

Our Admissions Process

For Toddlers:

 

  1. Take a tour.

  2. Fill out an application  and remit with $75 application fee.

  3. Remit payment before the first day of the session.

For Our Transition (Guppy) Class & Preschool:

 

  1. Take a tour.

  2. Fill out an application and remit with $75 application fee.

  3. After receiving your acceptance letter, fill out an Enrollment Agreement for Guppy or Preschool and a Day Request Form.  Remit with a $350 (Transition) or $500 (Preschool) deposit in order to save your child’s space.

  4. Fill out the nine (9) Required Forms (see below) before the first day of school.

Admissions Forms (for current families)

Please remit an Enrollment Agreement and Day Request Form, along with a deposit, to save your child’s space.  The nine (9) “required forms” (see below) must be submitted before your child begins school.  The first six of these forms are required by California State Licensing and we will be cited and fined if we don’t have them on file, so there can be no exceptions. 

 

We also ask that you fill out a “parent acknowledgement” form, certifying that you have read both the AKP Handbook and our Tuition and Registration Policies.  Both documents include essential information, so please do not sign the acknowledgement without first reading carefully. 

 

Finally, please fill out the “photo release form”, authorizing us to use your child’s image on the AKP website and/or in additional promotional materials.  If you do not wish us to use images of your child, let us know by checking the "do not agree" box and indicating whether this applies to using pictures in promotional materials, closed social media groups or both.

All forms may be filled out and submitted online, with the exception of the Physician's Report which must be printed out and brought to your child's pediatrician.
